This kit makes a heavenly ginger-spiced cake, which is perfectly complemented by the taste and texture of pistachios and pears.

The ginger glaze has quite a kick to it, so not always suitable for someone with a sensitive palette, but The Caker purposefully made it this intense as an ode to her love for ginger.

All you need to add is milk, butter and pears (tinned or fresh).

Note: This cake can be made vegan by using dairy free milk and oil instead of butter.
